Details: GeoPoll is a mobile surveying platform that collects data and information through the mobile phone. GeoPoll has the ability to collect data in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea through two-way Short Message Service (SMS) and/or Interactive Voice Response (IVR) surveys. In Sierra Leone, GeoPoll can has access to 2 million mobile subscribers in its database and more than 1 million in Liberia. Surveys can be targeted to administrative levels, allowing for remote data collection in areas where household surveys are not possible. GeoPoll surveys are always completely free to end-users, even if they do not have airtime credit.  Airtime credit can also be deposited electronically into airtime accounts as incentives upon survey completion.

Details: Since 2010, IREX has been strengthening the civil society and media sectors in Liberia in partnership with USAID. Ebola Private Sector Mobilization Group (EPSMPG) KRL International
The Ebola Private Sector Mobilization Group (EPSMG) is a collection of over 80 companies, across all sectors of the economy, who are involved in advocacy, education and direct support to the global effort to respond to the Ebola Virus Disease. Most importantly, since the end of August, the EPSMG has set up operational teams in the affected countries coordinating with the front- line health and humanitarian response. Collectively the EPSMG members are building ETUs, leveling roads, making available logistics and infrastructure to donors and host governments, providing paid personnel to the sensitization campaigns, donating supplies including diesel fuel, chlorine, mattresses, vehicles, ambulances and communications equipment. Project HOPE's Response to the Ebola Outbreak in Sierra Leone Project HOPE 

Responding to a request from the government of Sierra Leone, on October 3rd, Project HOPE sent six infectious disease and disaster response and recovery experts to the country to assess how to help combat the deadly outbreak of the Ebola virus.
