Details: GeoPoll is a mobile surveying platform that collects data and information through the mobile phone. GeoPoll has the ability to collect data in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea through two-way Short Message Service (SMS) and/or Interactive Voice Response (IVR) surveys. In Sierra Leone, GeoPoll can has access to 2 million mobile subscribers in its database and more than 1 million in Liberia. Surveys can be targeted to administrative levels, allowing for remote data collection in areas where household surveys are not possible. GeoPoll surveys are always completely free to end-users, even if they do not have airtime credit. Airtime credit can also be deposited electronically into airtime accounts as incentives upon survey completion.
